How Long After Taking I Pill Will The Vaginal Bleeding Stop?
Hello, My last period cycle was(15-18 July) and i had an unprotected sex on 23 July. i took an i-pill after an hour of unprotected sex. today on 30 July i am getting vaginal bleeding. How long will it takes? Is there any chance of getting pregnant? if no, when should i expect my next period as i have to travel next month.
Hello dear I understand your concern Bleeding after taking I pill is due to breakthrough bleeding caused by progesterone withdrawal effect. It will very light in amount and will disappear in 2-3 days. Chance of the pregnancy is very less as you had sex in the safe period of cycle and took I pill with in hour of the sex (highly effective- 95-98% in preventing the pregnancy). Your period may be delayed or earlier as it cause hormonal imbalance. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, do regular stretching exercise and walking, drink plenty of water Hope this may help you
