Hello,

Take uterine tonics and also food rich in iron, take iron supplements, manage stress. Ideally withdrawal bleeding should come. If not, you may have to get few required tests and investigations done to rule out secondary amenorrhea. The most common cause of not getting periods is hormonal imbalance (treated with hormonal therapy).

The other medical conditions can be thyroid disorder, lowered immune function, stress (physical / emotional), yeast infection, anemia, poor general health condition, etc. PCOS is commonly treated with birth control pills. You are advised to get clinically examined by a Gynae, get T3, T4, TSH, blood tests like Hb% done.

Get investigations done to test for structural anomalies of reproductive organs (ovaries, uterus, and other pelvic organs). Your gynecologist will tell you to get tests done for luteinizing hormone level, test for progesterone level. Blood work to test prolactin, progesterone, and thyroid levels, etc. Take home-made balanced diet, rich in iron and high in protein. Do regular walking and jogging. Maintain a healthy weight.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

PCOS is a condition where the precise response of hormones cannot be predicted in an individual. It can vary from person to person and depends on the extent of the condition in different individuals. However, if the advised treatment with Meprate recommended with doses and duration does not bring periods within 10 days, you can wait for some times more, (Maximum being 2 weeks in total). If menses is still not there, you may be advised to take a regular course of birth control pills to induce the periods.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
