How Long After Starting Treatment For TB And Fluid In Stomach Will The Persistent Fever Be Cured?

My mother 56 years old was having a fever from couple of weeks. After getting all the blood test negative doctors suggested to admit and check some other stuff then first they declared the Ascite and after CT scan & ultrasound reports doctors declared this as TB and formation of serous fluid in stomach and partially in lungs though she is not having any intuitive symptoms of TB as cough and started anti TB oral standard drugs(2 pills daily). So here i want to know how much time it will take the fever to be non persistent ?I mean it has been 1 week and still the fever conditions are same ,it is been regularly maintained with a patter of 3-5 hours.Sometime it has also been encountered 100 f . How much time later we will start seeing the betterment in terms of the fever ?

In my opinion your mother is suffering from abdominal tuberculosis. No pulmonary tuberculosis. So that she is not having any pulmonary symptoms. And abdominal tb needs same treatment as PTB. Standard four drug treatment according to weight. And symptoms start disappearing after 20 30 days. So wait for 1 month and get done USG abdomen for decrease in volume of ascites.
