Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

You must take the home pregnancy test at least 15 days after unprotected sex or a week after date of expected periods. The home pregnancy test is most accurate when done at least 15 days after possible unprotected sex. This is because the hCG in urine starts appearing in urine 15 days after possible pregnancy. Please consult your doctor if your pregnancy test is faint and you might have to get a blood test done to confirm pregnancy. Please avoid taking any medications without asking your doctors. If you do not have a pregnancy and still do not get periods then there is a possibility of other hormone related conditions like polycystic ovaries.
