How Long After Finishing Duphaston Course Periods Will Start?

My OB told me to take one tablet of 10mg Duphaston for 12 days to get back to my normal period. MY questions are: 1) After 12days of taking this med, When do I get my period? 2) When do I know that I will be fertile if I m TTC? 3) Am I really expecting weight gain while taking this meds because I previously undergo detox and wants to loose weight? Anyone who can help me clarify these questions. Thanks in advance.

1. After 12 days of taking this medication, When do I get my period?
Normally, you should get your periods by 3 to 5 days (maximum by a week) after stopping the medication.

2. When do I know that I will be fertile if I m TTC?
Once your periods are regular, you should start ovulating in time. It generally happens by 13th day of your cycle. If you time it during this period, you have an improved chance of conceiving.
You may also undergo follicular studies to know when you would be ovulating after your periods get regularized.

3. Am I really expecting weight gain while taking this medication because I previously undergo detox and wants to loose weight?
Weight gain is one of the known side effects of this medication. If you restrict calorie and salt intake along with moderate exercise during medication, you can prevent gaining weight.
