How Effective Is Lamictal For Cough?
Hello My daughter is 4.9 years old and last Friday her Neurology doctor has decided (after she got two attacks following high fever to start using Keppra 2ml twice a day. She is also taking lamictal 75ml x 2. Since Friday she doesn t stop coughing and at night she can barely sleep. What can be done to help her ? Thanks Haim

thanks for your question. well lamictal is a medication for seizures just as keppra. it would be very important to know since when she started getting siezures and are they associated wih fever. is there any EEG done for her.
so lamictal is not for cough. we need to know why she needs 2 medications to control seizures. well you can give simple promethizine for cough if it is distressing.
