How Does Contractions During Pregnancy Affect The Baby?

Hello. My girlfriend is 7 months pregnant and has been having contractions lately. She was in the ER earlier today and we are now back again as she had a bit of bleeding when she used the restroom. I am getting very concerned about the baby's health due to the contractions as well as the bleeding. A test was taken to determine if she would go into labor in the next 2 weeks but the test was negative. My question is what concerns should I have in regards to the baby's health?

Hi,

Welcome to healthcare magic. I have read your question.

I would like to reply as below:

1) Nothing will happen to baby if not delivered.

2) If delivered then baby will have difficulty since its too early to survive outside.

If you have any further queries, let me know so that I can help you much better.

Wish you good health.
