I had a basal cell mohs surgery in early Nov. 2013 on my nose. I had several stitches on the outside with dissolveable stitches in the inside. My last appt. with my mohs surgeon told me after Jan. 14 she did not need to see me any more but told me to make an appointment with my dermatologist in Feb. 2014 and I did. My appt. was this past week with my dermatologist Feb. 18, 2014. At least a week before this appt. I notice on my nose 2 white spots which looked like a pimple. I talked with my dermatologist and she said it may be the dissolveable stitches. I have another spot on my nose so she did liquid nitrogen on the 2 white areas and the other spot. The sheet I was given said these would scab and use petrolatum to speed the healing. It has been 4 days but it looks worse then before I had the liquid nitrogen was done. If these 2 white spot areas are dissovleable stitches, does this procedure help them dissolve or come to the surface. If the area is not better within 1-3 weeks, what should I do?
