How Do I Get Rid Of Severe Heartburn?

I am having severe heartburn to the point I cannot sleep, even if I try sleeping while sitting up. This is the 3rd day of this. It’s so bad I almost get the urge to vomit, my mouth fills with saliva. I take omeprazol daily and have been taking Tums also the past 3 days.

Hi,

You are having an acid reflux problem. For that, I suggest you take an antacid like rabeprazole for two weeks.

You should keep your head elevated while sleeping. Don't take excess spicy foods. I would also like to suggest you take gelusil like syrup once before going to sleep.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
