How Can Tinnitus In The Ears Be Treated?

Many mornings when I wake up very early, way before the alarm, there is this motor sound that continues and have a hard time falling back asleep. (This has been going on for about a year.) I, also, have a continuous ringing in my ears all day. Is there a cause for this and/or a cure?
