How Can Testicular Calcification Be Treated?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... I am trying to find out about calcification in the testicles. I had a hernia operation 2 months ago and have had an inflamed testicle since. i have just been for a scan, and she said it looks like "calcification" and I need to go back and see my GP. My brother has had testicular cancer and I am concerned about this. Your help would be appreciated.

welcome to Health care magic.
1.I have came across many scans where i have seen calcification post infection / inflammation, but these old healed granulomas generally does not cause any symptoms.
2.Calcified areas represent the healed infection.
3.See you GP when ever you have your appointment.
4.My suggestion in this case is, if you are worried - just get an followup scan done yearly to rule out any process going on.
5.Hope i answered your query, wish you a good health.
Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
