How Can Swollen Feet Be Cured?

hi I kicked a wall last week when I was mad with the bottom of my foot. My arch hurt a little bit the next day but after motrin and ice felt better. However I am a hairstylist and am on my feet most of the day. A week later my foot is still swollen and purple can this be a fracture or just a tendon that is strained?

Hello,

As per the history, you mentioned it sounds to be a bone hurt. but a hair line fracture cannot be observed from outside so an x-ray should be taken for confirmation. Hope that should reveal a lot about ur injury.

Also if it's a fracture than based on that the treatment plan will be made and if it's not a fracture than with just a brace and little rest for a week or so you should do fine.

But do consider that x-ray is a must if your pain doesn't subside for more than 48-72 hours.

Better conscious than being predictable.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
