Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello thanks for asking from HCM

Obsessive compulsive disorder is a type of anxiety disorder. In OCD due to recurrent thoughts individuals fails to sleep. Control of obsessions result in improvement of sleep. So to have good sleep you should consult a psychiatrist. In OCD medicines like SSRIs are drug of choice. Paroxetine is a SSRI drug and the drug also helps in sleeping. The drug is usually advised to be taken in evening it causes sedation and result in sleep. For non remitting OCD other drugs like Clomipramine can be added to prescription. Consult a psychiatrist for prescription of the drug.

Apart from medicines Behaviour Therapy with exposure and response prevention and thought stopping techniques also have excellent efficacy in OCD. Consult a psychologist for detailed treatment.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
