How Can Severe Depression And Excessive Weight Gain Be Treated?

I have been dealing with depression for years and am at my wits end. was on Effexor for a while years ago, stopped taking when I felt I no longer needed it. Did well for a long time but then a bad marriage pushed me over the top. A new Dr. put me on cymbolta and have been on that for about 6 yrs. I kept telling my Dr. who I love that wasn t helping, I hate taking meds, I finally quit taking about 4 months ago. My depression is getting worse to the point I don t and can t do anything I have no desire to be with people or do anything. I deal with chronic pain non stop again I don t like taking pills I get procedures instead. But I can no longer function like this I feel I have NO life and need something to get me motivated give me some energy and get me active again. Not being active has aided in sever weight gain which adds to my pain which adds to my depression please help me I can t keep feeling like this.

You need to start healthy lifestyle habits to come out of your problems.You need to start with proper diet rich in vitamins minerals, protein,low fat, high fibre like milk,eggs,fish, leafy vegetables, fruits etc.exercising regularly will help improve your mood and self esteem along with your Physical appearance.Also keep yourself motivated by aiming for smaller targets like weight reduction goals or something like that.Live yourself surrounded by positive people.
