Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It is impossible to find to right cause of prolonged fever without doing some medical tests. I can say that it is an infection or inflammation that should be checked as soon as possible. My advice is to consult your physician because it is necessary to do some blood tests (CBC, C reactive protein, fibrinogen, and other specific blood test for specific infectious diseases) to reach the right diagnosis. Than you can have the right treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Elona Xhardo
