How Can Prolonged Bleeding And Back Pain After An Abortion Be Treated?

hello doctor,i am 24 yrs female ,married 1 yr back i had an abortion in the month of march it was around 6weeks after conformation .my doctor dint do dnc bcos it was my 1st pregnancy she keep vaginal tablets after that bleeding was prolonged for 2 months if i walk for some distance i started to get bleebing ,i am having severe lower back pain also ,please give me some suggesions for me to get rid of this problems,and again when i have to bcome pregnat ?

Understand your concern
Prolonged bleeding and back pain up to 2 month after abortion is not normal. You should consult the gynecologist as early as possible to find out the below cause:
1. Retain product/incomplete abortion: sometime medicine fail to abort and some tissue remain inside the uterus and bleeds continuously.It will be diagnosed by the USG scan and should be treated by Evacuation or D & C.
2. Pelvic /vaginal infections: abortion process/incomplete abortion increase the chance of infections and should be diagnosed by the swab test, CBC, pelvic examination. Treatment is full antibiotic course.
3. Ectopic pregnancy: Some time ectopic pregnancy fail to abort and bleeds continuously.. It should be diagnosed by USG scan and treatment is sugery with blood transfusion
4. Molar pregnancy: some time placental cell get invade into the endometrium and convert in to malignant cell and produce choricarcinoma.
Diagnosis shall made by USG scan and Blood HCG titer. Treatment is Surgery plus chemotherapy.
