I discovered a pinworm in my vagina last night. Called doctor today, entire family treated with pyrantel pamoate around 4 p.m.. Linens and clothes washed, rooms vacuumed and mopped with bleach, bathed and all underwear and towels directly to laundry. Tonight, around 2 a.m.,I felt a sharp pain in anal region and found another worm. It was not moving, but I m assuming it was a female and laid eggs and died. How long should it take for this medicine to stop worms from laying eggs? What should I expect now? Will continue to bathe very morning and night and wash linens and vacuum.
