How Can Pain And Tingling Sensation In The Left Foot Be Treated?

Hi, last November I had a MRI scan because of lower back pain. As a result of this I was informed that two of my discs are drying out and I have athrities in one of my vertebrae. For the last few months I now have a pain in my left hip and pins and needles in my left foot which are getting worse. What sort of treatment can I expect to get if any. Many thanks Steve

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dr imad here for your help.
well as you mentioned that 2 of your disc are sliped due to arthritis and degenerative changes, due to which your spinal cord and spnial nerves for foot are are being compressed leading to needles and pins sensations, you are advised to use
tab gabica haveing pregabaline 75 mg 2 times a day .it will subside your pins and neeldes sensation, but better will be to take opinion of a neurologist and discuss surgical decompression surgery option with neurologist as its the mainstaiy of treatment if your symptoms are not controlling with medications.
hope you have got your answer.

Regards
