How Can Labial Swelling Be Treated?

I thought I pulled a groin muscle and now see that my labia is very swollen on the left side. It hurts to sit or walk but ok to lay down. I am confused as to what this could be as I didn't think I'd done anything out of the ordinary. Strenuous maybe but not unusual

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely bartholinitis. For my patients with such cases i advise antibiotics like clindamycin in form of suppository or oral tab.I also advise them to do warm compress with towel to get soothing. If any abscess is there then i recommend incision and drainage.I also recommend them to use intimate wash regularly to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH, there by prevent getting further infections.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
