How Can Itchy Sores On The Face Be Treated?

I get oozy bumpy soars on my face and after a day or so they open up and ooze a clear liquid that hardens on top of the soar followed by scabs........will have two or three on my face at a time, itchy when oozing, usually disappear in a week followed by others somewhere else on the face. I am 70 years old..........please help, everytime I wash my face the scabs come off and here I go again....very ugly and annoying.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Wanted to know whether you are a male or a female? In case of being a male, do you think the lesions are erupting in the bearded area? I suggest using a mild face cleanser and using an antibiotic cream twice a day. Recommend you to kindly get it reviewed by the concerned doctor too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
