How Can Seborrheic Dermatitis Along With Itching On The Face Be Treated?

My scalp is covered with sore, small scabs. They bleed when I pick them. My scalp feels tight. What can I do? Also, my face feels itchy and my mouth and tongue have just begun to have red sores. Kind of like when your stomach is upset type of sores. Maybe these two things aren’t related.

Hello,

Seborrheic dermatitis is a skin condition that causes scaly patches and red skin, mainly on the scalp. Apply topically these are of any significant benefit in the control of seborrheic dermatitis: coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, tea tree oil, or biotin. On the other hand, one percent hydrocortisone, which is inexpensive and easily available without a prescription, is likely to be very effective in controlling seborrhea. Keep always moisture, use topical ketoconazole, or Nizoral or Selsin shampoo useful. Use antihistamine is useful if symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
