General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Itchy blackening of skin in the groin, private parts, penis is suggestive of dermatitis and fungal growth can be secondary to the skin changes.
I would advise you teh following:
First of all start using loose underwear and pants as proper aeration is a must for skin recovery.
Clean the part with plain warm water at least in the morning and evening to clean the sweat and other parts of secretion, removes dead skin and make it dry.
Lower integrity of the skin can be precursor hence you need to take multivitamins, minerals, trace elements and thus helps build the strong skin.
Vitamins A and D have a definite role and get the supplements if the blood reports indicate so.
Also check for diabetes, kidney and liver functions by blood tests.
Avoid hot and humid atmosphere.
All these along with the ointments or lotions as advised by your Dermatologist will help for complete recovery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant, General Surgeon.
