I missed my period two months ago I went to the doctors and she said it was nothing and I took a home pregnancy test it came back negative. Last month I had a period a whole month and it was very orange. This month I have been spotting orange blood and bloody discharge. What could this be ? Is this normal?

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. This presentation of abnormal menstrual discharge is not normal. You seem to be experiencing breakthrough bleeding seen with hormone imbalance. As pregnancy has been excluded, you need to get a complete hormone profile, blood counts, urinalysis and a trans-vaginal/pelvic sonogram if not already done, to detect the cause and help plan further management. Please maintain a healthy weight, a healthy diet and regular exercise. Styptics can be used to arrest the bleeding. A couple of hormone courses may be necessary. Hope this helps.
