Hi My problem is itregular period I.had this problem earlier and my doctor suggested me to take dicynone and primolut nor Last year i took this medicines and i was having petfect menstrual cycle for 8 months But last 2 months its again irregular And i dont remmeba how i took the medicines Im having them kindly tell me how to stop my heavy period and then to take primolut so i would hav perfect menstruation after 21 days thanks
Irregular menstrual bleeding could be the result of hormonal imbalance, thyroid conditions, anaemia. I would suggest you to do some basic investigations like TSH levels, USG abdomen to see if there is PCOS, and your CBC to look for anaemia. The medicines earlier prescribed to you by your doctor- dicynone is to control your heavy bleeding and primolut is to regulate your hormones. Ideally, dicynone is taken as one tablet (500mg) twice daily for 3 days and should be started 5 days prior to your mensus. I would suggest you to take Tab. DIAN 35 one tablet same time every day, starting from the fifth day of your menstrual cycle for 21 days. Please consult with your doctor and see if he agrees with me.
Hope this helps Kindly revert back for any further queries. Thanks and regards
