Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve was diagnosed with Ichthyosis vulgaris 13 years back. Now at the age of 28, I am still using Amylac as the key cream to maintain my skin condition. But since past two months, Amylac seems to have been stopped by the company. I ve tried other intensive moisturizers as well over the years prescribed by my dermatologist, but nothing worked like Amylac. There isn t any substitute for this in the market. Can you recommend some other similar acidic formulation ?
There are few other brands Alpha cream AHA cream Which contains alpha hydroxy acid that you are looking for, you can try a hundred percent glycerin to apply before or after a bath. Vitamin D and E oils calmurid cream with uric acid, which can help you.
