How Can I Have Periods With No Estrogen?

my FSH is 116.8 and my estriol is 0.1 but I still have regular periods. my dr (internal MD) said that I should not be having periods at all. I am 46 and I had a large cyst removed off my fallopian tube about a year ago. I am having a lot of pain with this current menstration. I think that a cyst may have burst. I have a lot of abdominal tenderness. How can I be having periods with no estrogen?
