How Can Fever In A Toddler Be Treated?

Hi , my niece had fever from last 15 hours. We have given her two doses of Calpol of 3.5 ml at a gap of 4hrs .but fever was not decreased from 103 f . So , we have given her Meftal P 3ml , after this dose fever was reduced now after 6.5 hr she again has temperature .So now what we will do give her calpol or meftal asking because now she don t have high fever .How many doses of meftal P we can give in 24hrs ? She had cough from last few days . Age 3 years n 7 months

First of all please be clear that the medicine doses are always calculated as per body weight of the child for a proper response.
Had I been your treating doctor,,i would have advised calpol(125/5) to be given thrice daily for another 24 hours with a antibiotic may be Azithral syp along with a cough medicine may be kofarest paediatric for two days more.
However please consult your treating doctor with a clinical examination and for any blood investigation if required.
