Hello,

You are suffering from elevated bilirubin level. You have quitted taking alcohol. You have lost weight. To reduce bilirubin level you should get clinically examined by a GP, get required blood workouts, tests and investigations done to detect the factor causing elevated bilirubin level like liver dysfunction, gall stones, bile duct inflammation, etc. You will be accordingly treated. In the meantime, switch to healthy lifestyle.

Stay away from alcohol, smoking or other addictions if any. Maintain your sleep time, take quality sleep. Avoid sedentary life, stay active. Take boiled food for 2-3 months. You can take food cooked in olive oil. Avoid trans fat, full fat dairy products, red meat, refined flour, etc. Strict control of diet will help to reduce elevated bilirubin level and reduce symptoms. Take boiled water after it gets cool.

Avoid taking fried food, oily food, junk and packaged food. Take berries, fruits, veggies and lean protein take well cooked whole cereals. You can take liver tonic, Liv-52 and food that is good for the liver. You can take enzymes to help digestion. Stay at rest avoid doing heavy work or strenuous exercises.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
