How Can Drug Addiction Be Treated?

I have been trying to help and support my son the best that I can with his drug addiction. Opioids, opiates, methamphetamine, and marijuana. Recently he had some pills that read- AN 415 in addition to the color salmon and round shape. I researched it and from my understanding it helps to recover from opioids. However this was not prescribed to him. I noticed earlier around noon-ish that he had taken half if not the whole pill. But within the last half hour he has significant signs of heroine use. Can this medication give off those signs? if I drug test him will it tell me if its in fact heroine or can this medication test positive for opiads too? The fact that he took a pill that was not prescribed to him is already got me concerned and against our rules if he resides with us during his recovery, but his argument will be that the pill keeps from him using any kind of opioids. Is this true? I m so exhausted and have been going through this with him for a couple years. So any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Yes, if you will get either the pill drug tested or blood sample of your son. Both the cases will provide you the results of his drug status.

Second thing most of the unbranded pills are not satisfied by the medical drug regulatory bodies. Every drug has to be packed properly and labeled as per the directions of these bodies.

Every time your son takes a pill without label, it can be a drug.
