Dear Sir, Hi & Welcome.

Based on the history given in your query, you seem to be suffering recurrent Clostridium difficile infection resulting in diarrhea.

Had I been your physician I would have advised to get admitted in a hospital.

You will need to be given a 'pulsed regimen' of Vancomycin with a a gradually tapered dose of medication or an antibiotic given once every few days. In addition you may also need another antibiotic like Metronidazole to eradicate the infection.

To reduce the frequency of the stools and to enhance the antibiotic activity,
Probiotics (include strains of Lactobacillus or Bifidobacteria) are "healthy" microorganisms (bacteria, yeast) that can be taken by mouth are thus effective in this way.

Hope the advice given above would be beneficial in eradicating the recurrent infection.
Take care.
