How Can Chronic Constipation Be Treated?

I have chronic constipation. Lately when I try to go I notice that the BM is stuck in the area in between vagina and anus. I use a tissue to push down on the area and the BM comes out. What could have caused this to happen... besides consipation... I know that is probably the root cause but this other part is fairly recent.

You should take foods rich in fibres like salads, whole wheat flour, unpolished rice and pulses. Also take water and fluids in large amounts. Avoid oily and processed foods. If the symptoms do not improve, take isapgol husk in warm water before going to bed or you can take Syrup Lactulose in water before going to bed at night. This will improve your constipation.
Thanks.
