Hi,

I am sorry for the situation you are in.

Constipation is among the bowel habits that has also a hereditary factor.
There are various factors that might influence it including:
- diet regimen: less fiber, less dairy products, etc.
- your lifestyle: less physical activity
- medications you take on regular basis

With regards to Coke, it contains caffeine. Caffeine itself is a stimulant of bowel movement. You can also have loose stool because as coffee stimulates a fast bowel movement, your bowels won't carry their function in absorbing water from fecal mass; resulting in a more loose stool.

Hope it answered to your question!
