I stabbed myself in the upper leg by accident, full swing, slender locking blade.... in other words I really hurt myself. Puncture wound mabe an inch penitrated ...now black and blue blotches a foot away in either direction Feeling numb and sore What do I do Is this typical

Hi,

Puncture wound has got high chance for infection. It is better to consult a physician and start on antibiotics and get a tetanus shot also. Nothing much to worry and it will generally settle in couple of days.
