It is possible it could be due to Canthridin substance of the insect Blister beetle which would have got squashed and caused the line of bruises. Is there any itching over the bruise. You can show the lesions to a Dermatologist and get treated. For the time being you can apply soothing Lactocalamine lotion for relief.
