General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Bronchitis is a part of COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and it is a reversible bronchial obstruction.

So, you should take bronchodilator, expectorant and mucolytic with antibiotics to prevent secondary bacterial infection, Amoxiclav drug thrice a day for 7 days is sufficient.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhadresh Lakhani
