Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis

I was at my PCP office yesterday with all the symptoms of bronchitis and my doctor confirmed that I did have bronchitis and tri-bronchitis, never heard of this. Doctor wrote me 3 prescriptions but I did not have time to ask him what tri-bronchitis was?

Hi,

Treatment for acute bronchitis includes rest and fluids. Aspirin or a similar agent is used to treat fever. A humidifier or steam can also help. Your doctor may prescribe medications to open your airways and reduce wheezing and inflammation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Esmeralda Sera, Oncologist
