How Can Blurred Vision Be Treated?

I recently had cataract surgery and my left eye did not dilate properly before surgery and I have had blurry vision every since surgery. The doctor tells me this is due to dry eye. It has been 5 months and I still do not have good vision. What r your thoughts.

Hello,

There might be several causes for your decrease in vision post-operative. First of all, it might be due to a swelling in your retina due to the surgical stress your eye went through. If you are diabetic, there might be a fair chance that it is the main cause.

The second cause might be due to the fact that there was a complication during surgery or that the correct lens wasn't placed due to any issue which may also be a biometry issue.

The third cause that your eye didn't dilate indicates that you might have had any condition before surgery like an eye infection or uveitis that flared up after the surgery when your eye went through surgical stress.
