How Can A Protruding Clavicle Bone Around The Vocal Cords Be Treated?

My clavicle bone is pressing close to my windpipe! My shoulder on the right side is where my neck has been fused 5 years ago! The clavicle has grown close to my shortened neck! I had Basilar Invagination of the skull and had C1 and C2 removed and my neck fused! Now the neck is fused! The right shoulder where my neck is fused the clavicle protrudes close to my vocal cords also! Can this problem be corrected?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, it can be corrected surgically by an orthopaedician and plastic surgeon or with serial surgeries to retract it away laterally.

Regards
