How Can A Growing And Painful Bartholin's Cyst Be Treated?
I have a bartholin cyst. I have had them before but this one seems to keep growing and I am in a lot of pain. Sitting down is extremely painful. I don t have a primary care physician as she moved to a different practice. Will a teladoc be able to help?
Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern. Some advices that I can give to you are: -Sitz baths. Soaking in a tub filled with a few inches of warm water (sitz bath) several times a day for three or four days may help a small, infected cyst to rupture and drain on its own. -Surgical drainage, always consult a surgeon or a gynecologist for this -Take Antibiotics. Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help! Regards, Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi
