How Can A Bee Sting Be Treated?

I got stung by a bee today at 5.40. I immediately went to the pharmacy and they gave me some allergy relief tablets and nurofen as it was ringing but I didn t have any bad symptoms. I ve been reading up on it and it says you can apply hydrocortisone cream to the spot. I actually have betnivate cream at home anyway for mild excess. Should I apply that to my finger that got stung ?

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

It is correct information that steroid ointment can help in reducing the allergy symptoms that is pain and swelling at the bee sting site and Betnovate can be helpful for the same..

So my suggestion is to take allergy tablets as it will help in reducing the symptoms faster and apply Betnovate ointment over it..
Along with it do cool compresses over the sting site to reduce inflammation, itching and swelling..

Avoid scratching the area to avoid infection..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
