Hello,

UTI is not related to the bleeding you wife suffers. For UTI please perform a Urine culture and sensitivity test. Bleeding during mid-trimester has many reasons. Some may be related tp pregnancy and others related to a local gynecological or general cause. Thorough evaluation should be done by your doctor. Till you go for your doctor, I advise best rest, no intercourse and continue your medication.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ahmed Bahaa, OBGYN
