How Can I Get Rid Of My Mucus Build-up?

How can i get rid of my mucus buildup from meth that seems to be forcing its way back up. I am eating which seems to help and drinking lots of fluids, but once i stop moments later it seems to just irritate it more and come back. Is there a way I can or maybe prevent to build less mucus? thank you

Hi,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.

Looking at your symptoms,there might be inflammation in the respiratory tract which is causing excessive mucus production.

You may find relief by taking the following medication:
Mucolytic like Ambroxol,Antihistaminic like Cetrizine,Antiinflammatory like Ibuprofen with Antacid like Rantac.

Also do steam inhalation.Do warm saline gargles which help to loosen the which mucus.Drink lots of warm fluids.Avoid eating cold,iily and very sweet food which increase mucus production.Avoid dust,smoke and other pollutants.

After following the above measures,if your symptoms are not improving,then it would be advisable to have a Chest X-ray and consult a Physician Doctor for chest auscultation.
