Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

E. coli mainly transmit through contaminated hands and foods. Always wash your hands with soap and water especially before having food. Use only boiled and cooled water, avoid foods prepared in unhygienic conditions. Better to maintain a good personal hygiene also. Avoid biting your nail if you have that habit. Nothing much as it is an easily preventable disease.

Wishing you all the best.

Thanks.
