how accurate of a picture does an oncotype test give for reccurance of breast cancer? if the oncotype test score was in the high range, is chemo always recommened for estrogen receptor positive cancer that was removed with first lumpectomy and then a mastectomy . TC regimen of chemo has been advised. female, 60, small tumor in left breast along with paget s disease of the nipple. thanks.

U r in the right line of treatment and your doctor has adviced correctly. Chemo is the first line of management of estrogen positive cases. However some contraindications like immunopupression and age has to be considered.
