Hello, In 10% of people after undergoing gall bladder surgery, they suffer from chronic diarrhea and it is said that increase in amount of bile acids in large intestines after gall bladder removal is the cause for it. Treatment for this includes medicines like Imodium, bike acids binding agents like cholestyramine and fatty acos medications like oleic acid etc. However there can be various other reasons for chronic diarrhea like crohn's disease, coeliac sprue, ulcerative colitis etc which must be ruled out. You must consult a gastroenterologist and get yourself investigated and diagnosed.Once diagnosis is made, proper treatment can be instituted which can make you gain weight and get healthy. Thanks
