Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

As per the description, your blood pressure is in "Prehypertension" stage. Medicines are not necessary in this stage.

Life style changes and modifications forms the main stay of management.

* Physical activity in the form of brisk walking for atleast 30-45 per day for 5 days in a week.
* Cutting down on daily intake of salt
* Avoding oily foods, pickles and roasted items
* Keeping body weight at an optimum level
* Quit smoking, if you are a known smoker
* Having an adequate sleep
* Reducing stress by doing Yoga or Meditation

Regular monitoring of blood pressure once in 2-3 months is mandatory.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
