Hi! I haven't been able to have sex with my husband for 5 years now and recently learned it was due to my hymen being to thick to break ourselves. I am going in on tuesday to fix that but I thought it was just a quick incision but after some research I found that everyone else was saying its this whole procedure to put you under and take the whole hymen out and all that. Can a quick incision do the trick or do I have to have the whole thing taken out? I do have 2 small holes in my hymen. And get periods regularly and everything seems to be fine. My primary care doctor only said that they might numb me and cut it. So Im confused as what they are actaully going to do. And I am just going to an obgyn and they said they dint do surgeries and he thwy have this appointment set up. Any idea what might happen what I need to so, will I need a ride? They never said it was a consultation visit either. I was led to believe the appointment was when the action was going to happen. Please help!!! Im having a panic attack since im going alone! !!
