Hi Doctor, My Mother Is Diabetic And 65 Yrs Old.

Hi Doctor, My mother is diabetic and 65 yrs old. For the last 05 years she has symptoms of diabetic neuropathy where-in her eyes get swollen inspite of the cataract surgery done. Also, her right hand become numb sometimes and pain a lot and feel tough to carry things sometimes with that hand. She feels too weak most of the times. Many doctors suggested b-complex and multi-vitamin capsules and tablets but somehow it didn't subside with oral medication and her head used to feel heavy when she took the oral medication. Then the doctor prescribed her the Nurokind injections once in 6 months dosage with weekly one total 6 injections. She feels better with the injections but later the pain starts but somehow she feels a relief. Shall we continue with the injections 6 months once dosage of 6 vials or do you suggest anything else. Please advise.
