Hernia Surgery Needed If It Is Popping Out, Painful And Having Nausea And Burning?

My male friend has had a hernia for years, in the past year it has poped out & he pushes it back in which is painful. He is having symptoms of nausea & and burning. Laying down gives him relief. He was seen by my Doctor and he said he has stage tree symptomatic umbillose? hernia. I know he needs surgery but I am having a hard time getting him to go as he doesn t think it s that bad. What do you think as to the symptoms he is having now? I am very worried?

Umbilical hernia repair is a very simple and safe procedure and this is definitely recommended in every man especially if there are symptoms as he has. Otherwise it may cause serious cosequances in future such as incarceration or strangulation and then it may be too late for surgery. so he should do it as soon as possible.
