Hello Sir, My Father Is 71 Years And Is Diabetic

Hello Sir,
My father is 71 years and is diabetic taking insulin. Month back he go swelling in his feet. Doctor advised for certain tests and result was
PSA-(36.20),
Urine Culture-(No geowth after 2 days of aerobic incubation),
HbA1c-5.4, Serology 24hrs Urine-(Albumin-100.00, Alpha-1 nil, Alpha-2, Nil, Beta-Nil, Gamma-Nil, M-Spike (quantfication)-not seen, Comment-No Monoclonal spike seen)
Ultra Sound- (prostate meassures 35.0ccin volume, enlarged in size with heterogeneous echotexture periposttatic fat pair well maintained). Impression- (Bilateral grade II renal parenchymal changes, diffuse chrinic cystitis with grade 1 prostatomegaly.
Now doctor is suggesting to surgery. I want to know that is there any chances for cure with medicines.
